From a master of shorts 14 April 2014 Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
*Small spoiler alert*
Aaron David knows how to write a short story.
From the spaghettification scene in 'One Small Step' to the violent and depraved Ghandi in 'The Big Unchill', you never know what you're going to get.
'Moon 2' tells the rather unfortunately believable story of the introduction of a new planet and 'Hughes the Rocket' takes us into the thoughts of the first Welshman in space. Of course, you can guess what will happen in the end... well, no you can't actually. Every one of the tales in 'The Skiffies' takes you on enough twists and turns to leave you completely befuddled and amazed when the ending strikes you like a hammer in the face.
You don't have to be a sci-fi fan to enjoy this anthology and don't expect it to be entirely factual, though I'm sure you'll agree, some of these shorts are scarily convincing.
